I got a chance to watch “Shaolin” I would say that Benny Chan film has done the great job with the Shaolin Movie of 2011, starring by Andy Lau and Jackie Chan. But don’t you expect after seeing Jackie Chan’s name comes up for a lot of his fighting scenes because this movie is much more than an ordinary kungfu fight action movie. It is very philosophical. The main character, Andy Lau somehow gets into “The Dark Night of The Soul” path which is how we called in the spiritual world. It is a big turning point for him before he finds his way back on to the right path. I would say this is one of my favourite movies of all time. It is very sad movie though. I cried a lot all most entire the movie.

Especially, the scene when Andy Lau fell down from about 9 m. height and landed up on the Buddha’s hands in a slowly motion is the most touching. There is some meaningful message in this scene. When I was watching this scene I cried even harder. Andy Lau thought this scene was wonderful. He said “When I was sliding along the statue in mid-air, the close contact felt very peaceful and harmonious. Maybe because I am a Buddhist, I felt it even more.”

This movie is a very well-made. It’s brilliant. I like the way they manage to tell the story in such a delicate way. They tell the story by heart and so we can get the messages by heart as well. In my opinion, Asian movies have a different style to tell and put the stories together in a sensual way very different from Hollywood movies.

Moreover, Jackie Chan and Andy Lau are my favourite actors since I was a young girl. I have been growing up with their movies.
At last, I would love to recommend this Shaolin movie of 2011 to you who have not watched it yet. Also I would love to hear from you later, how do you think about the movie?

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same. ~Nelson Mandela.•*¨*•..❤

Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” ∼ Albert Einstein

Energy is everywhere. We create different frequencies of energy out of our mind depending on our thoughts and our state of mind. You can’t see it but you can feel it. I would like to give you an example as we are close to a fireplace we feel the heat because the fireplace creates energy and spread the heat out to the area around it. We can’t see the heat physically but our bodies react to it so we feel warm if we stay nearby the fireplace. I’ve put up a very interesting video which can give you more information.

I’ m sure most of you have experienced that if there is someone in the room that starts laughing there will be more people in the same room that starts laughing as well. Or even you don’t laugh along with them but you can’t deny that you can feel joy and happiness along with them as well. Sometimes, there is the only you who is the only happy person somewhere. You might feel happy at some level but if there are other happy people that join you in the same place then you will start feel the even more joy and happy. This is because the joy and happiness are energy which can be collected in a bigger volume like a snow ball. “Like attracts like”

Some individual places or person or animals make we feel good to be around but some do not because all things create different vibration, positive or negative which can affect our bodies and emotions.

You are an energy generator and a co-creator who can create so many great things in your and other people’s lives and you are free to choose what you would like to create, happiness, joy, love or hate, angry, depress and so on out of your mind.

“Abilities come with the great responsibility”

You have the great abilities to create love and happiness so your duty is to spread them out to the world. Everyone around you will be contagious love and happiness from you

I’m writing here on the same chair and by same table as usual. It’s raining outside and this because of the autumn have begun. Life is still going on even though the weather has been effect on my emotion. The cold and the dark make me feel a bit depressed J So I need to come up with something to keep my vibration up

According to the weather? I would like to share another beautiful video from TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) the video contains so many beautiful sceneries in different parts of Thailand, activities and Thai culture.

Hello during a rainy day…..

Let’s talk a bit about what you should do and what you should not do before you pack your bags and head to the Smiley Land
Being a good traveller we need to learn and do our homework. This can prevent any embarrassing situations and missunderstandings.

Do

Respect all Buddha images. These kinds of images are held sacred.

Take of your shoes before entering a temple, someone’s house.

Dress properly when visiting a temple. Avoid sleeveless shirts, flip-flops, and too-short shorts or skirts.

Make sure you have travel and health insurance.

Try to learn a few basic phrases in Thai such as “Hello” “Thank you” You will be very welcome and be extra charming for Thais. Also this will make you feel more comfortable when you meet some Thai people.

Treat older people, parents of your Thai friends and monks with respect.

Try to stay calm in any kind of situation. It is the best way to improve your situation when you get in any trouble.

Smile a lot and enjoy staying in Thailand.

Taboos & Don’t

Don’t touch Thai person’s head. For Thais, the head is the most sacred part of the body. There are some exceptions for it but the best you should not do it. Apologize if you did it accidently

Don’t show you’re the soles of your feet to anyone or use your feet to point to some thing or touch someone. For Thais, feet are the lowest and filthiest of the body.

Don’t put your feet on the table. It is very impolite and disrespectful way to do so.

Don’t cross your legs or rest your legs high up when you are in the presence of a monk neither on the floor nor in a chair.

Don’t show disrespect towards the Thai Royal Family. This is illegally. So you might end up in prison or get in to a trouble
* Thai people have a deep respect for their King who has devoted his life to improve quality of life for all Thais.

Don’t be overly affectionate in public.
* Even though in Thai society has been change a lot among young couples to hold hands. But you should not get heater than that. In a temple area. Don’t do it at all.

Don’t touch a Thai woman without consent.
* The representation of Thai women has been misleading by the minority of Thai bar girls and the business of prostitution but the majority of Thai women are conservative.

Don’t lose your temper or raise your voice. Just stay clam with smile on your face to sort thing out under any circumstance.

Don’t be offended by questions about your age or married status
* It is common for Thais to ask each other at the first meeting. To just break the ice and get to know each other’s better. But you can always deny answering with a smile.

Love/

“nai nam mi pla, nai na mi khao (In the water there is fish. In the field there is rice)”

A quotation from King Ramkhamhaeng’s inscription virtually defined the natural resources of Thailand. There is plenty of food for everyone because Thailand is an agricultural country. Most Thai people are farmers and a big part of the nation’s income comes from farming. There is a wide range of fruits and vegetables which grow abundantly in all regions of Thailand. I would love to recommend you to go around in fresh markets especially in the morning. You will be fascinated and excited with all kind of fresh exotic fruits & vegetables, fresh seafood and meats, different kinds of fresh herbs. I love to go around and buy ready-made dishes and/or ingredients for my own cooking at these amazing places. It feels so lively there and everything is so fresh and the great quality if you got the eye for it, can you imagine what awaits you when you go there to shop. Another reason is the excellent prices.

For someone who don’t like to cook or don’t have time for it. Not too worry Thailand always have different kinds of food from all corners of the world avaliable in all price levels to choose from almost 24-7 on your request. The cost of living in Thailand is very low and reasonable. So you can feel like a king or queen while staying with us in Thailand.

In general, Thai people eat in small portions with a lot of fresh vegetables and salads. It is very different if I would compare with serving size of food in many european countries and in America. But in the morning some foreigners might be surprised becuase many Thai kick start the morning with a quite heavy menu such as sticky rice with fried chicken, fried noodle and so on.

Meal times is consider to be a good time for hanging out and catching up with friends and family in Thai culture. We talk and enjoy eachothers company during these times. In the traditional way, we always serve different kinds of menus in the middle of the table along with common spoons in each dishes. So we could take some food from the middle of the table with common spoons into our own dish. It is a nice way if you could take some food and serve to some of people who you are eating with.

Be my guest. Let’s get into serious business…

Love/

The kingdom of Thailand is located in the Southeast Asia, one of the countries on earth where you could find anything in combination of inspiring culture & mindfulness lifestyle, spectacular nature, scenic beauty, stunning beaches, superb hospitality, world-class Thai cuisine, etc. You will be able to achieve most of your wishes in Thailand. There are many things that a person would possibly want to have, to eat, to go, to experience in Thailand and many people who would agree with me by revisiting it again and again.

“Siam” was the old name of Thailand. It was the official name of the country until 1949, when it was changed to Thailand by official proclamation. ‘Thai’ in the Thai language means ‘freedom’. So, Thailand means “land of freedom” or “land of the free”.

Thailand has been one of the most attractive destinations in the world with over 14 million visitors per year. It offers many kind of activities and things for people of all ages and personalities such as adventure, luxury, eco, heritage culture, naturalist, photographers, learners an so on.

Bangkok is the capital and the centre of political, commercial, industrial and cultural activities. The country is divided into 4 regions, North, Northeast, Middle, and South with 76 provinces. Each of the regions are different in climate and Geographical division and characters which is I would like to talk to you about further more in the detail later.

Thailand is a monarchy with the current King, his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej or King Rama IX, the ninth King of the Chakri Dynasty. This year is the 65th year of HM. Bhumibol reign, which is the longest reign where a Thai king has been on the throne in Thailand’s history. Which is a long time and he has devoted his life to improve the quality of life for all thai.

Thailand always offers a warm welcome to all new visitors and welcome back everyone who is leaving it with big nice smiles and breathtaking nature.

Visit Thailand once in your life.

Thai people are well-known as very hospitable, kind, inviting, friendly people full of life. At first, if you feel awkward or strange because they just smile to you even you have never met them before in your entire life and you are not used to it. You just give them a big nice smile back to them and you will feel better and you will get used to it eventually. It is a warm welcome for you……

A friend of mine, she had been to Thailand once. She was very impressed with all the smiling Thai people. At first, she also feelt funny with it and she was wondered if there was anything wrong with her or if she had done anything wrong wondering why people smiled at her. It was not just the first time that someone asked me about the ”smiling habits” of Thai people. That is why our home is called “Land of smiles”

Being a person who live abroad, I know we can all feel lonely or homesick sometimes. And if you are living in thailand and are feeling lonely try to get to know some local Thai’s and make friends with them. You would not feel as lonely anymore I’m sure. As a friend you get greated as you are a part of their family. As a foreigner you will recieve more attension and extra care. We Thais are very caring and nurturing people

Even though, Thai people are generally very nice and friendly there are some of Do & Don’t you should be aware of.

Hope you will have a wonderful time staying in Thailand and make some Thai friends.
